The traveling block is an important accessory of the drilling rig, installed on the rig's mast. It works through the winch and hoisting system's moving parts to perform tasks such as raising and lowering the drill string and moving the mast.

The traveling block consists of the traveling block frame, pulleys, pulley shafts, bearings, bearing seats, and auxiliary pulleys. Our series of traveling blocks conform to the API 4F and 8A standards and the industry standard SY/T5527. They are equipped with rope guides and grooves to prevent wire ropes from jumping out of place or falling off, anti-collision damping devices, lifting frames for pulley maintenance, and sand retrieval pulleys with auxiliary pulleys. The traveling block's pulley can be interchanged with the matching pulley of the hoisting system.
